One of the highest point in the world, the great Everest Base Camp is one of the few places of earth you will never want to miss out in your excursion plans. My trip to Everest Base Camp was surely one of my best trip ever. Though I have gone to Everest Base Camp many times before this, but this one is peculiar in its own. My excursion started on the cold morning of April with my 5 newly made czech friends, with group leader Lucy, Me and her friends. All set out with a single destination in our mind, the Everest Base Camp. Everything was quite normal for me cuz I had came up here a lot of times. But, for my friends, It was a first time experience in the Himalayas of Nepal. I truly had a great time with them, guiding through the cold winds of the Himalayas, and I hope they have also had a great time. The trek was highly adventurous as we had to pass through three high passes. Without any rush or hurry, we strolled pass through the cold winds, gentle swirling of the trees, laughs and warmness of the local villages to our destination. At the 6th day of the trek, I don't know why but a strange sensation hit my heart, soul and my whole body, a whole new sensation, a sensation of accomplishment, a sense of happiness, a sense of success flowing through my veins. We had reached the Everest Base Camp that day. I am sure my friends would have had such sensation too. I could see that in their face, full of happiness. We surely had one of the greatest time of our whole life. And, I hope that I will have the fortune to work with them again in the future.
